Nima Pournaghshband is an Iranian countertenor, composer and choir conductor who also works behind the camera. He lives in Vaals, on the German border near Aachen, and studies Baroque singing with Kai Wessel at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln. His own music brings Persian poetry into Western, mostly Baroque, forms.
